Just as Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is about to hit theatres worldwide, SEGA Corporation has more exciting news for the franchise fans
C.E.O. of SEGA corporation, Haruki Satomi, just announced that the third movie in Sonic the Hedgehog is already in development. SEGA will again partner with Paramount and continue expanding the beloved multimedia franchise.
Mr. Satomi also announced the development of the first live-action Sonic series.
There are no more details regarding the two, as both are still in early development, and exposing details would take the spotlight away from the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie that will premiere in the United States in April.
The upcoming movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, is a sequel to the live-action feature film Sonic the Hedgehog from 2020. The movie has an impressive cast featuring Ben Schwartz as Sonic, Idris Elba as Knuckles, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Tails, and James Marsden as Tom.
The teaser for the movie was shown during the 2022 Super Bowl LVI on Sunday. You can watch it below in case you missed it.
