Fans of Star Wars who dabble in The Sims 4 have just hit a double whammy as EA announced Star Wars: Journey to Batuu Game Pack, and it launches on September 8, 2020.
As you can see from the trailer, Star Wars: Journey to Batuu starts off quite adventure-y, with interesting Sims, artefacts and some delicious local cuisine, but it won't take long until they're entangled in the conflict in a galaxy far, far away.
The Sims 4 will let you make a choice of which faction to support, where the usual suspects, the Resistance and the First Order, are joined by the Scoundrels, who aren't particular fans of either of the two.
"Be careful about the missions you select! As a scoundrel, it’s important to ensure the Resistance and the First Order are more focused on each other than on your Sim’s activities. As you build up your reputation for one faction, it may drop with another, and scoundrels walk a tight line between the two", EA wrote.
Should your allegiances be with the Scoundrels, you'll gain access to the Millenium Falcon, which along with a bunch of credits should be incentive enough.
Joining the Resistance isn't as straightforward due to their secrecy, but DJ R-3X repurposed pilot droid's gossip should be of help there. "Build up enough reputation, and perhaps your Sim will gain Vi Moradi’s trust and the ability to fly the X-wing on daring missions. Maybe they’ll earn Rey’s respect if they climb high enough up the ranks", the dev said.
Last but not least is the First Order, which is led by Kylo Ren himself. Joining them means you'll be helping weed out the Resistance and meet a few Star Wars hot shots along the way.
