The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be the first in its franchise to have a DLC pack
Nintendo seems to be embracing the idea of post-release content. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be getting two DLC packs and an expansion pass, with one pack coming in summer and the other in winter 2017. The expansion pass will set you back £17.99 and the sales start on 03 March with the release of the game and the console. Everyone who decides to buy the pass will get three chests containing "useful items" and "exclusive in-game clothing" right away.
The first pack will bring a new Cave of Trials along with a hard difficulty setting and an "additional map feature." With the winter comes a new original story, a fresh dungeon and "additional challenges". Eiji Aonuma, the long-time producer of the series stated that "The world of Hyrule, which we created for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is so large and vibrant that we wanted to offer more for players to experience within it,"
