Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are gearing up for Dark Hours raid release on 15 May 2019 and one of the new items coming with it is The Eagle Bearer Exotic Assault rifle. Data miners have already discovered its talents and mods.

The Division 2 Dark Hours raid will have a lot of exclusive content. There are three gear sets for each existing specialisation and a new Exotic assault rifle called The Eagle Bearer. All of the gear set bonuses have already been but The Eagle Bearer's existence only came to light with the trailer hyping players up for Dark Hours.

Luckily, data miners were on top of their game this time as well, bringing out the talents and mods for The Eagle Bearer. As a reminder for those who didn't catch the latest patch notes - Exotics now have mod slots so Eagle Bearer is not the only one among them to have these features.

Eagle's Strike is the first active talent that ramp up the weapon's accuracy as the agent keeps firing it, in a manner similar to the LMG mechanics. The second part of the same talent is that headshot kills provide 100 per cent reload speed, 35 per cent damage buff and Tenacity for 10 seconds. Furthermore, Tenacity buff will get amplified by one per cent for each subsequent body shot and five per cent for each headshot.

The aforementioned Tenacity buff is actually the second active talent of The Eagle Bearer. It will reduce incoming damage by 20 to 80 per cent, depending on how much a player stacked it with headshots and body shots. The defence bonus will persist until Tenacity wears off, upon which the player will take all the mitigated damage.

Each kill while under effects of Tenacity will decrease the amount of damage the player will take after it wears off by 20 per cent and completely negate it at five kills. It is like crafted for going Rambo.

Protected Fire is The Eagle Bearer's holstered talent. It will provide 10 per cent bonus armour while the agent is shooting from their other primary weapon.

The Eagle Bearer will have four mods:

  • Optics will add 10 per cent critical chance
  • Magazine will provide 30 extra rounds
  • Underbarrel will give 10 per cent stability
  • Muzzle will boost critical hit damage by 15 per cent

Unfortunately, the data mining didn't get the weapon's damage and RPM values at the time of writing but it's likely they will mirror those of an M4 or a P416.
