Following the delicious retro platformer Horace, Epic Games Store is giving away The Bridge, an award-winning indie that will turn your world upside down, occasionally quite literally. Next week's game is Farming Simulator 2019.
"The Bridge is a logic puzzle game that forces you to reevaluate your preconceptions of physics and perspective. It is Isaac Newton meets M. C. Escher. Manipulate gravity to redefine the ceiling as the floor while venturing through impossible architectures", the description reads.
Developed by Ty Taylor and Mario Castaneda and published by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild, The Bridge launched back in 2013 and has since been ported to pretty much every platform you can think off.
And quite deservedly so, as the game is sure to stick with you, provided you like traditionally drawn art and mind-bending, cleverly assembled puzzles and an enchanting soundtrack to match. Which you really should.
Epic Games continue to pick really some real indie gems, and this one is no different, and we'd go as far as saying that it's a guaranteed memorable experience. The Bridge has won a few awards and has been nominated for a bunch more, but feel free to check that part for yourself.
Wonderfully endearing, the game even starts off with an apple drop, which is a fitting beginning of a game that has a lot to do with physics. Or lack thereof.
The Bridge is available until 30 January 2020, when it will be replaced with Farming Simulator 19, Giant Software's popular sim title.
