As anticipation builds for the next installment in the popular fighting game series, Tekken 8, Bandai Namco is gradually unveiling new fighters who will join the roster for the intense battles that lie ahead of us.
In today's official trailer, a new fighter named Lee Chaolan was introduced, showcasing a fighting style that irresistibly blends elements of the iconic Hwoarang and the even more renowned Nina.
The trailer also features Lee facing off against Nina, and it's commendable to see Bandai Namco's consistent effort to introduce new fighters alongside the impressive existing roster. In both bouts, Lee dons a consistent outfit reminiscent of platinum-colored combat armour. Towards the trailer's conclusion, he concludes the fight with a grenade throw, a move likely to become one of the iconic and intricately executed manoeuvres that can potentially alter the course of the round.
Tekken stands as a truly iconic series, having graced the gaming scene since the era of the first PlayStation, spanning nearly thirty years. With each new installment, the franchise consistently introduces something novel and captivating, picking up the interest of both die-hard fans and casual gamers alike.
The much-anticipated release of Tekken 8 is scheduled for January 26, and upon launch, the game will be accessible on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
