Bandai Namco Entertainment just released a brand-new trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, showing off some exciting moments between legendary heroes and villains.
For fans, the event seems promising: Vegeta is pitted against Super Baby 2, Trunks is up against Frieza, and Goku takes on Jiren-the fights are looking more stunning than ever.
Sparking! ZERO, developed by Spike Chunsoft - is the spiritual successor to Budokai Tenkaichi, boasting a whopping 182 characters playable right out of its initial gate.
These span nearly all of the main story arcs of Dragon Ball, from Buu and Cell's classic fights to movie villains like Cooler and Janemba. Furthermore, a set of Super Saiyan forms will be available for several characters.
Others will receive Goku (Mini) from the upcoming Dragon Ball DAIMA as an early purchase bonus playable character if they pre-order the game.
Sparking! ZERO launches on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC on 11th October. However, those buying the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the game can start playing as early as three days in advance.
But with its massive cast of characters, shiny visuals, quick combat, and spot-on recreations of iconic anime moments, this is hands-down the one that every Dragon Ball fan should be playing. For both long-time and new fans, Sparking! ZERO manages to feel at once nostalgically retro and brand new.
