Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle will serve as a prequel to Daymare: 1998 and it's officially coming to PC, last-gen and current-gen consoles sometime in 2022.

Publisher Leonardo Interactive and developer Invader Studios have announced that Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle, the prequel to the critically acclaimed survival horror game Daymare:1998, will be coming to PC and consoles in early 2022.

The game's story will focus on the events of Keen Sight, the small town tucked away in the endless woods of Idaho and the location of Daymare: 1998. Below, you can check out the official teaser trailer for the game, which looks surprisingly good and atmospheric to be fair:

Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle is a third-person story-driven survival horror game that follows the story of special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in the service of a unit called H.A.D.E.S. (Hexacore Advanced Division for Extraction and Search), as she explores the most advanced experimental research centre in the United States of America, which hides terrifying secrets.

The developers promise new but also returning characters, revamped interface, fresh environmental puzzles and top both visuals once the game officially launches. We have to say that the game looks pretty great judging by the screenshots. hopefully, that will also be the case once we get our hands on it.

Daymare 1994: Sandcastle will be available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in early 2022. For more details, you can check out the game on Steam.
