October 2021 State of Play details
PlayStation State of Play will return on Wednesday, October 27 at 10:00 pm BST (2:00 pm PT). The fans can catch the event on both Twitch and YouTube but what can they expect from the show? The announcement was pretty vague about the actual contents of the upcoming State of Play broadcast but we do know that it is going to centre around announcements and updates for upcoming third-party releases headed to PlayStation 5 and PS4.
The October 27 show will go on for around 20 minutes but the fans are a bit sceptical about the fact that the organisers declared they will share new looks at previously-announced games on top of a few reveals from the company's partners around the world.
Sony's previous State of Play event happened in July and brought us the official release date reveal for Death Stranding: Director's Cut as well as a brand new trailer for the already delayed kung fu game SIFU.
Notably absent from the July show were God of War and Horizon: Forbidden West.
