Key information about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has leaked, mere days before it was supposed to be shown, presumably at The Game Awards.
EA and Respawn Entertainment can barely contain themselves it seems as the hype about the new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor keeps growing since the first game captured the hearts of so many fans. And frankly, EA could use a win following the less-than-stellar release of Need for Speed Unbound .
Someone appears to have jumped the gun with the announcements though as the store page on Steam go updated prematurely, revealing that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor release date is March 15, 2022.
Additionally, the Steam page contained the system specs.
Minimum PC requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are;
- CPU: Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- GPU: 8GB VRAM - NVidia GTX 1070 or AMD RX 580
- RAM: 8GB
Recommended system specs are:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-11600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- GPU: 8GB VRAM - NVidia RTX 2070 or AMD RX 6700 XT
- RAM: 16GB
In both cases, you will need 130 GB of free disk space for the game.
While it's chunky, the reason is pretty obvious since Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a very cinematic game with many cutscenes, there is no reason to doubt the sequel will be as well.
