It must be a busy time at Cloud Imperium Games at the moment, as the company successfully completed this year's CitizenCon and kicked off the Free Fly event. Now, they posted a trailer for the fifth day, with exotic spaceships on display.

As you can see, or soon will, CIG's trailer for the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo is not unlike a car show, with a host and everything. "Whitley's Guide returns as Jax McCleary delves into the esoteric world of exotic ships", it says in the description.

They also said that Star Citizen players should hold on, as it gets a bit strange, and we can't fault them for it - it indeed gets a bit strange, regardless of whether you're a player. I mean, pickled what bug? Never mind, moving on.

There's a few Star Citizen ships on display and you don't have to just feast your eyes, the ongoing Free Fly event lets you try them out. You can also catch a glimpse and a short history of the Banu Defender, which is quite easy on the eyes. Apparently, it wasn't always so, but hey - we're not here to debate in-game history - beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

If you still haven't taken CIG up on their offer, you still have time as the event lasts until 5 December 2019. "If you're new to Star Citizen, simply make an RSI account, install the game, and take advantage of complimentary test-flights by retrieving vehicles via ASOP terminals at any in-game spaceport. During the IAE event, the game is free to play", they said.

We've been lucky to get a hands-on demo on Star Citizen's new mode Theaters of War, which has been announced at CitizenCon and you can check it out .
