Developer GSC Game World have dropped a couple of brand new screenshots of Stalker 2, showcasing the beauty and harsh landscape of The Zone.
Stalker 2 continues to look absolutely mind-blowing with each new screenshot and trailer. Today, the developer of this highly-anticipated shooter, GSC Game World , revealed a couple of new screenshots, showcasing the harsh beauty of the iconic Zone, where players will spend their time once Stalker 2 is finally out.
The screenshots showcase new locations that we haven't seen before and they look pretty impressive to say the least. Every scene is packed with detail, the foliage looks lush and realistic while the lightning is also giving the locations a proper punch. You can download HQ screenshots here.
Stalker 2 is certainly shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of this year. Despite all the delays and rumoured development issues, GSC Game World have truly built one of the best-looking games ever, judging by these screenshots.
Stalker 2 does not have a specific release date at the moment. We only know it's coming sometime this year to PC and Xbox Series X|S via Game Pass on day one. If we had to guess, we would say that late 2023 is a realistic scenario for Stalker 2's release date since GSC Game World have not yet started to properly showcase the game's features.
Of course, the lives and well-being of the developers are still what matters the most, so even if further delays happen, we doubt anyone will be disappointed by the news.
Stalker 2 will be a timed console exclusive for Xbox. It's expected to launch on PlayStation 5 sometime after the release on PC and Xbox.
