According to PlayStation insider Navtra, Square Enix are set to announce another Final Fantasy game at this year's E3. The game will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.

Final Fantasy is now basically a PlayStation 5 exclusive franchise. Sony have managed to lock down timed exclusive for Final Fantasy VII Remake and by the looks of it, the next game in the series Final Fantasy XVI will also be timed exclusive for Sony's platform.

Additionally, there's another Final Fantasy game that will be coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 in the near future. According to ResetEra insider Navtra, who accurately revealed Sony-related news in the past, Square Enix will showcase a brand new Final Fantasy game at this year's E3 show, that will be exclusive to PlayStation 5.

The insider also revealed that this game won't be as big as Final Fantasy XVI or Forspoken but it's "certainly more significant than World of FF or a remaster".

"I believe we're getting two major SE reveals this June: A PS5 exclusive FF title, and a cross-gen Eidos title," the insider revealed on the ResetEra forum. They also said it would be an RPG title.

Now, since this is not officially confirmed, we suggest you take it with a grain of salt but like we said, Navtra has been a reliable source for all things PlayStation in the past, so maybe don't be too sceptical about this one.

Anyway, E3 2021 is just around the corner anyway so we won't have to wait for too long to see what this game actually is.
