It turns out that the launch date for the second episode of Insomniac's Spider-Man The City That Never Sleeps DLC was revealed through the game itself and we now know that Turf Wars will land in the PlayStation Store on 20 November 2018.

As you can see, Turf Wars will give players a chance to butt heads with Hammerhead, the gentleman with pronounced facial topography from the photo below. Hopefully, they don't try it literally, because it's not his stubbornness that earned him the name Hammerhead - it was his titanium skull. That where the, ahem, topography comes from as well.

With the second episode of Spider-Man's The City That Never Sleeps DLC dated, it only leaves the last episode, Silver Lining, which should be landing in December. Judging by the timing of Turf Wars, it's safe to expect the conclusion to Spider-Man's DLC package around the same date in December 2018.

Of course, Silver Lining is the closest Insomniac Games have come to the concept in a while, with Spider-Man exceeding all expectations. Not long after launch, Spidey snatched Far Cry 5's title of the  , in spite of the latter's multiplatform advantage and the wins haven't stopped coming since.

Spider-Man has beaten its in-house exclusive colleague God of War's , which is no small feat considering Kratos's status as of late. As for earlier iterations, Insomniac Games' take managed to put them all to shame. No, not figuratively, literally - Spider-Man's launch month actually beats all other Spider-Man .

To top things off, Spidey was mentioned in Sony's recent financial report, where it was stated that Spider-Man performance and some drove the company's success. Apparently, Spidey helped the company to 65 per cent higher profits in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2019.

It wasn't all smooth sailing for Spider-Man but Insomniac stayed on top of the situation, turning accusations of a graphics downgrade, spotted via some , into a running joke, even adding cartoony versions of later.
