Rainbow Six: Siege has around 2.3 million daily users and over 20 million total registered users since its launch in 2015. UbiSoft has plans to continue supporting the tactical squad based shooter for a long time.
Rainbow Six: Siege was a bit of a mess when it launched in early December 2015. A year and a half later, it looks like UbiSoft's persistence with polishing the game, constantly adding content, and not dividing its user base has more than paid off.
The publisher has announced in a recent that the tactical shooter has had 20 million registered users since launch, with 2,3 million daily logins.
The game is set to receive two new operatives with the next update set in Hong Kong. One of the two is coming from Hong Kong’s Special Duties Unit (SDU), with the other one belonging to Poland’s Grupa Reagowania Operacyjno-Manewrowego (GROM). The update will also contain new weapons and a new map.
Rainbow Six: Siege currently already has 10 operators more than it did at launch, bringing the total number up to 30. Considering the arsenal at the players disposal right now and the way that Siege has been expanding since 2015, it might become a little tricky to balance.
If you are curious about the game, you can get it on for a little over £10. You will need uPlay.
