The Tomb Raider series' next game will be revealed soon, in order to garner more attention to the franchise before the movie's next showing in cinemas. Yet another ''leak'' has already revealed release date.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the name of the next instalment in the franchise and it will be released on 14 September 2018. The countdown for the next teaser shows it will happen on 15 March 2018 at 13:00 GMT. There isn't much to wait for now since the cat is already out of the bag, but at least we will get to see the teaser in a higher resolution than the one in the leak.
Both the teaser and the ''leak'' have conveniently lined up just in time to garner more attention in order to sell more movie tickets. The leaks don't stop there as Twitter user Nibel pointed out in one of his posts. He already stated the release date but the leak from confirmed it.
Nibel also pointed out that this may be a record number of leaks for a AAA game, as the release date, platforms, reveal date, the setting and official name have all been leaked. None of these details are officially confirmed but it is safe to say it's expected they will be, as soon as the reveal happens. Speaking of platforms, it will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One without any exclusives so it's probable that the 14 September 2018 will be a simultaneous release date.
Another leaked date claims there is a more detailed reveal event planned for 27 April 2018. This also appears to be the date when Square Enix will discuss pre-order incentives. At this rate these are not leaks, but a deluge of ''secret'' information. We might be looking at a future where announcements for promotion roadmaps become an actual thing in .

The official reveal should be happening in a couple of hours, if there is anything left to reveal. Oh right, the
high definition teaser should be there.
Update: teaser trailer added on top of the article.
