Life is Strange: True Colors just got its first official gameplay video. The 13-minute trailer was recently shared on YouTube and has everything a Life is Strange fan could hope for.
Who woke up this morning expecting to see a Life is Strange: True Colors first official gameplay video? Now, who woke up thinking that we'll get a 13 minute Life is Strange: True Colors first official gameplay video?
Life is Strange: True Colors - first official gameplay video
Life is Strange: True Colors is rated M for Mature. The 13-minute-long video sees Alex visit a record shop in Haven Springs, reminiscing about her big brother and the past. There, she meets Steph the DJ and Ryan the Colorado State Park Ranger who has a really different (some would say nerdy) hobby.
A quest for the missing hold list ensues and the 10-minute mark brings the first glimpse into how Alex' power works as Steph bursts out of her booth yelling at someone on the phone. Alex sees a red spiky aura around her and starts acting angry, somewhat mirroring the DJ's behaviour.
Steph quickly calms down but Alex is left feeling the effects. Her brother shows up and the video quickly comes to a close.
From what we've gleaned from the video, the Life is Strange: True Colors gameplay looks pretty much like what you'd expect from a Life is Strange game, and that's more than fine.
Life is Strange: True Colors will officially launch for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia on September 10, 2021. Steph's DLC, 'Wavelengths' will be available on September 30. The game's Switch version has recently been delayed for later this year.
