Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed the full trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider in timely fashion - only one day after it was leaked. On top of the previous leaks for the game, one might wonder if there are any secrets left.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider trailer shown above is the official cinematic trailer, on the official Tomb Raider YouTube channel but it was also leaked on 26 April 2017 in videos that were promptly removed in from YouTube.

This is not the first leak to happen to Shadow of the Tomb Raid. In fact it's only the most recent in a long line of leaks after the game's name, setting ,reveal date, release date, available platforms and the official logo. Reveal date was correctly leaked as 27 April 2018, which we back on 15 March 2018.

Apparently Lara Croft will be stuck in another jungle, after her adventure on Yamatai. She will be delving into ancient tombs (who would've guessed?) in order to save the world from a Mayan apocalypse. The trailer shows her being wounded by a ceremonial blade and then moving to the stairs of a temple, while she's being observed by a large crowd.

This is reminiscent of every accidental-ritual-made-me-a-big-deal scene ever, so it's possible she became a host body for an ancient Mayan deity. Such a setting could hint at a doom clock mechanic within the game, where players have to complete Lara's mission and find a cure before she gets overtaken. We might have to wait for the next leak to reveal the story though.

Square Enix hosted a show for fans across London, Los Angeles and Montreal on 26 April 2018, while the fans in New York will have a preview of the game on 27 April 2018, at 4 PM EST in BMCC Theater which is a part of Tribeca Performing Arts Centre.
