Pearl Abyss has released some tutorial videos to help players hone their skills in their new arena fighter Shadow Arena. The first video highlights the skills and combos for the swordsman Jordine Ducas.
Shadow Arena players can now sharpen their skills with the help of some freshly released tutorial videos. The videos can be found on the Shadow Arena YouTube channel.
The first video shows the skills and combos for the swordsman Jordine Ducas - a novice-friendly character.
In addition to the Jordine Ducas video, there will be another one featuring the AI mode that helps players learn and execute their skills by practising with bots. The AI video can be watched via the Shadow Arena Twitch channel and will have community managers for Shadow Arena demonstrate how to have some fun with AI.
Next week will mark the start of Shadow Arena's final phase of closed beta testing before the game fully launches later this year. The beta will be available for the North American, European, and Asian servers from Friday, 17 April until Sunday, 20 April. You can now register for the closed beta and check the testing period.
New features for the closed beta
The final phase of the closed beta will include some new features like an improved matching system and character balance, as well as normal and AI match modes.
Note that the normal match mode does not count toward a player’s ranking as it is meant for players who want to play the game casually without the pressure the competitive mode brings to the mix.
Players who sign up for Shadow Arena's beta will get a special package of in-game items including the highest grade sealed items, a matchlock, and Red Dragon Offering. Players who signed up for previous beta phases will receive a final beta key and some exclusive in-game goodies.
