Rare's Sea of Thieves is on its way to Steam. The Steam version will feature cross-play that will allow Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam users to adventure together when Sea of Thieves launches on the platform.

Sea of Thieves' Twitter account just shared that happy news that the game will soon be available on Steam . The game's Steam version will feature cross-platform multiplayer as well as the obligatory Steam Achievements. The cross-play option will see Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam users adventuring together when Sea of Thieves launches.

In the two years since the game was released for PC and Xbox One, more than 10 million brave marauders have taken on Megalodons, repelled the killer Kraken and looted skeleton-filled Forts.

Sea of Thieves' Adventure mode will be a perfect fit for the players who want to experience the pirate life in its entirety. The Adventure mode will let you explore the world and find a bunch of loot and secrets, all guarded by various foes.

Those looking for a PvP (Pirate versus Pirate) experience will feel right at home in The Arena where you can test your skills against other ambitious champions.

While a bunch of different ships and crew sizes is welcome when you're already a seasoned pirate, one might get seriously lost in all the options. That's when The Maiden Voyage comes in. The tutorial led by the Pirate Lord himself will get you ship-shape in no time.

You can now Wishlist Sea of Thieves on Steam . The game's actual release date will be shared at a later date.
