According to the latest rumours, Microsoft's next-gen console Xbox Project Scarlett could release on 06 November 2020 as the most powerful console ever.

Xbox One will soon be replaced by a much powerful and modern console Xbox Project Scarlett. At the moment, we only have a couple of details about the new product, and the release date is unfortunately not one of them. It's been confirmed already that the new Xbox should arrive sometime in Holiday season 2020 but the specific release date has not been mentioned.

However, according to the latest info from a Twitter user PSErebus, who usually tweets about Sony's console, the next-gen Xbox will release on 06 November 2020. The leaker did not say where he got this information so take it with a grain of salt, just like any other leak, rumour or unconfirmed info. Even if the release date is indeed correct, things change quickly in the modern gaming industry so Microsoft may opt for a different release date.

PSErebus also claims that Xbox Project Scarlett will launch as the most powerful console ever, meaning that Microsoft will continue to beat Sony when it comes to the raw power of the consoles. At the moment, Microsoft's Xbox One X is the most powerful console, offering native 4K support, which is something that PS4 Pro is capable of doing only in a small selection of titles.

The leaker also doubts that Sony will release PlayStation 5 before Xbox Project Scarlett launches. One Twitter user asked if it's possible that Sony keeps the momentum and lead they have with PlayStation 4 and release the new console earlier than Microsoft, but PSErebus doesn't believe that will be the case, simply replying "Keep wishing."

All in all, it remains to be seen whether all of this turns out to be the truth but even if the info is incorrect, November and December 2020 are probably the months when both companies should release their new consoles.
