The preseason for season 12 did not last as long as some, but definitely longer than it should have, considering the scope of updates. In any case, we are awarded an additional clash tournament for our troubles.

In celebration of Ranked Season 2022 Start, there will be a special Forge God Clash tournament with the following special Forge God-themed rewards.:

  • 3 Trophies,
  • 3 Banners,
  • 5 Team Logos.

Forge God clash will only take place on one weekend. Team formation opens on January 10, with matches taking place on January 15 and 16.

Forge God Clash is not part of the regular Clash season. You’ll still be able to earn Forge God-themed rewards, but your Clash VP track won’t be affected. The first Clash tournament of Season 2022, which will count towards the VP track, will be in patch 12.4!

We all remember last year's debacle regarding clashes. With half the servers going down, not only was clash unplayable, but it was impossible to access the client at all. This year's season has not had too many updates, compared to the past two, so hopefully, we will not have a repeat of what happened.

Riot Games Let us hope they fix the basic issues the old client has, and not just polish it up The cross-game client is not what the fans wanted, nor is it something we need either

However, there have been changes, no matter how small, and League of Legends servers and client are still League of Legends servers and client, so don't be too surprised if you find that the scheduled gaming night with your friends is not going to happen, through no fault of your own.
