Resident Evil Village is just around the corner and today, we have some details about the game's file size on PlayStation 5, as well as the pre-load date.
Capcom's upcoming survival horror Resident Evil Village is certainly one of the biggest releases of 2021 and it's just around the corner now. And as we wait to see more gameplay, trailer and get more details about the game as we get even closer to the release date, some new details about the game's PS5 version have surfaced online.
Thanks to a Twitter profile PlayStation Game Size , we have first info on Resident Evil Village's download size, pre-load date and a potential day-one patch. Check out the info below:
Resident Evil Village (PS5)
- Download Size: 27.325 GB (Without Day One Patch)
- Pre-Load: May 5
- Launch: May 7
As you can see, the file size on PlayStation 5 seems to be smaller than the Xbox Series X version, which is around 50 GB. However, it's possible that this is due to RE Reverse, a multiplayer title that comes with Resident Evil Village. Perhaps, the PS5 version's file size does not include both games.
As for the pre-load date, you can see it starts two days before the official launch of the game, which is more than enough to download the game and have everything ready once the servers unlock.
Resident Evil Village is officially hitting the shelves on May 7, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
