Leaked Capcom files revealed Resident Evil Outbreak game, which is scheduled to arrive in Q4 2021 but according to a reliable leaker Dusk Golem, this title is actually Resident Evil Revelations 3.
You're probably aware of massive Capcom leak which revealed the publisher's plans for upcoming releases. Previously rumoured games such as Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6 are pretty much confirmed now and according to a reliable insider for all things Capcom Dusk Golem, Resident Evil Revelations 3 is another title that's on the leaked launch scheduled, just under a different name.
The leaker is referring to Resident Evil Outbreak, which is set for release in Q4 2021 according to the leaked list. When asked about Outbreak and whether this is a remake of the original, a reboot of the series or simply a third Outbreak game, Dusk Golem simply replied that the game is actually revelations 3, not Outbreak 3.
As you can see, the insider did not share additional info about the project. Since we don't know the scope of the game, it's possible that the title is still in early development stage hence the lack of details.
Also, don't take the Q4 2021 release window as gospel since Capcom already internally delayed many titles, including Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 Remake due to COVID-19.
In case you're not familiar with Resident Evil Revelations series, the game is set between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. It follows Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine on a mission to stop a bioterrorist organisation from infection the Earth's oceans with a deadly virus.
