Red Dead Online players are meant to receive a massive new update today, which will be adding Frontier Pursuit, a new pursuit to introduce players to secrets of naturalism.
Now, we doubt that Red Dead Online's developer intended for the tree-hugging kind of naturalism. In fact, we're fairly certain they had something more lethal in mind, but you be the judge.
"For Red Dead Online, players can expect a massive new update to arrive Tuesday, July 28th featuring a new Frontier Pursuit that will introduce players to the secrets of naturalism as part of an all-new Role, plus a new Outlaw Pass, tons of community-requested features and fixes, and much more to play and discover in the months to come", they wrote.
So, a new Frontier Pursuit for naturalists or whatever the role ends up being called are coming today, along with the new Outlaw Pass, which means even more cosmetics and stuff to do in Red Dead Online.
In their latest post, Rockstar also mentioned the Red Dead Online community, which has apparently been an invaluable resource. They stressed that things like musical instruments wouldn't have made the cut otherwise, and they encouraged the community to keep sending feedback.
The dev promised that the rest of 2020 will be just as, if not more, exciting than the first part, with "new extensions and augmentations to an existing role in Red Dead Online".
If you're more of a GTA person yourself, then worry not as both games are getting love from Rockstar, with GTA Online heading for its biggest update yet. It will feature the dev's latest take on Heists, which takes players to an entirely new location.
