Following up on the legendary deers, Rockstar are adding a Legendary Banded Gator in his week's Red Dead Online update, and the beast has been spotted near Saint Denis.
"Harriet Davenport has received word of an untamed beast older than time itself nesting outside Saint Denis. The cold-blooded Legendary Banded Gator has a taste for human flesh - as well as the teeth and temperament to satisfy such a craving", the dev wrote.
As usual, you'll have a choice between sedating the creature and bringing it to Harriet, which requires Naturalist Rank 5.
Or you can go about it the old fashioned way and take the skin to Gus. This unlocks the option to craft the Banded Coat, which you can check out on the image below.
Gus' Store is feeling mighty generous this week so Red Dead Online players who craft any coat will be getting a Free Vest. Crafting anything at the store earns you a reward of 25 Free Trader Goods, while crafting a trinket gets you a free Poncho.
