PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds' new map set to be revealed during The Game Awards. The map was teased back in July. A recent patch was datamined to reveal a nearly finished desert map.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is getting a new map. We've known that for a while now. The latest news is that we'll actually get to see it in all its sandy glory when the first official gameplay reveal happens during The Game Awards in the US on Thursday, 07 December.
When we first talked about the new map coming to PUBG, the world was a different place. , everyone was enjoying their summer vacation and some of us were getting burnt to a crisp while sitting in a shade. That's life for you.

July also brought news of another map, which was going to be set somewhere on the Adriatic Sea. The other map was described as formerly being a part of Yugoslavia, checkered with different areas.
The island was said to be 8x8km and home to all kinds of weather conditions. "Northern side is lush with thick forests, and on the south is the Mediterranean coast. The two sides are divided by snowy mountains." had with that idea.
