February 2022 will bring the Pokemon in-person Kanto event. The event will take place at three real-life locations. Tickets for the event are now available and nonrefundable.

Pokemon GO Tour: Johto event has been announced, detailed and most of the Trainers who plan on participating have already chosen between Gold and Silver. The Johto event will happen on February 26, followed by a special in-person Kanto event on February 27. The two events were announced at the same time but we didn't get the real-life locations of the latter until today.

The Pokemon GO Tour: Live event locations

  • Monterrey, Mexico at Parque Fundidora
  • Kaohsiung, Taiwan at the Taiwan Lantern Festival
  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at Yas Bay

The Pokemon GO Tour: Live event tickets

All tickets for the event will are priced at $25.00 US (or your local currency equivalent plus any applicable taxes and fees). The tickets are available for purchase on the Pokemon GO Tour website.  You will see a "Tickets Available" sign next to the Pokemon GO Tour: Live event ticket if it is still in stock.

Event gameplay will be available only at the mentioned locations on the specified date and time. Note that the tickets are nonrefundable, sold on a first-come, first-served basis and only available for purchase while the supplies last.

The Pokemon GO Tour: Live event features

  • Real-world themed habitats, each with their own Collection Challenges.
  • You’ll be able to complete up to six Special Trades during event hours: 10 am-6 pm local time.
  • Access to event-exclusive Special Research.
  • Take some snapshots.
  • Eggs placed in Incubators during the event will require one-quarter the usual walking distance to hatch.
  • You’ll earn twice the Candy from hatching Eggs.
  • Earn extra Candy from catching featured Pokemon originally discovered in Kanto.
  • Up to nine free Raid Passes are available from spinning Photo Discs at Gyms.
  • The event features an exclusive in-game medal.
  • Find special stickers in PokeStops and Gifts.
  • Confetti will be appearing on the in-game map during the event.
  • Real-life photo-ops and lounge areas will be available in the park.
  • Exclusive merchandise will be available at select locations.
