Niantic have confirmed that the Legendary Lunch Hour event will return to Pokemon Go tomorrow - 10 April 2019. Just like during the previous event, trainers will get an increased number of five-star raids with Origin Firme Girantina.
Niantic are hosting another Legendary Lunch Hour in Pokemon Go after the event had a successful debut a few weeks ago. The developer confirmed that the second event will take place tomorrow - 10 April 2019 from 12:00 PM. to 1:00 PM in your local time zone.
According to the announcement on Pokemon Go website, Niantic still need your help to explore the event's options even further. Just like during the first event, the Legendary Lunch Hour will introduce an increased number of five-star raids featuring Origin Forme Giratina during the event hour.
Niantic still see Legendary Lunch Hour as an experimental event and will continue to gather data to make the event even better. They also said that they understand some players can't participate in every event, and these tests are the first step in developing and creating more events focused on different play styles.
It's unknown what exactly Ninatic are working on, but judging by the message, it wouldn't surprise us to see different events for casual and hardcore players. Of course, this is just a prediction, and nothing is confirmed at the moment.
Furthermore, Niantic also announced Special Raid Week dates and the featured Pokemon. From Monday, 15 April 2019 at 1:00 PM to Monday, 22 April 2019 at 1:00 PM PDT (GMT −7) the Legendary Pokémon Latios will be joining Raid Battles.
Niantic also confirmed that the Shiny version of Latios will be available during the event, so those who are lucky may encounter the special creature.
