Niantic announced the details for the global Pokemon Go Fest 2022 tickets, including the price and how to get one.
Pokemon Go Fest 2022 will have both global and local events. The local ones will be held across three cities on three continents but keep in mind that these events have separate tickets and rules of participation.
Niantic folks have revealed the details about the tickets for the global event, which means you don't have to go to USA, Germany or Japan to participate.
Anyway, POGO Fest 2022 tickets are now available and can be obtained in the in-game shop for $14.99 or the local equivalent. The tickets will be up for sale until June 5, 2022, and they are non-refundable so make sure you can commit to the event before paying the entry fee.
Both days of the event will be available for everyone, even if they didn't buy a ticket. However, ticket holders will have exclusive benefits.
On Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time, ticket holders will:
- Get an additional Special Research story, after completing the one available to all trainers
- Contains rewards and special Pokemon encounters
- Anything you attract with incense on June 4 will be attracted to it on June 5 during the event hours
- Team GO Rocket balloons will appear more frequently
- Mysterious Components drops will be doubled
