Pokemon GO is starting the summer off with a bang. For the first time ever, Pokemon GO Fest will feature every single Legendary Pokemon discovered in the game so far.

Pokemon GO Fest 2021 will feature every Legendary Pokemon discovered in Pokemon GO so far. The Legendary Pokemon will start appearing in five-star raids for the first time ever on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. The event will end at 6:00 p.m. local time.


Pokemon GO Fest 2021 details

  • Legendary Pokemon will start appearing in five-star raised all over the globe. The Pokemon will appear during one of four themed hours on rotation during the event.
  • The Wind Hour will happen from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time. featured Pokemon during Wind Hour: Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Altered Forme Giratina, Cresselia, Virizion, and Therian Forme Tornadus.
  • Lava Hour (from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time). Lava Hour featured Pokemon: Moltres, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Terrakion, Therian Forme Landorus, and Yveltal.
  • Frost Hour, occurring from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time will bring Articuno, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Kyogre, Palkia, and Kyurem to a five-star raid near you. Plus, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf will be appearing in five-star raids in the regions they normally appear in.
  • Thunder Hour, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, will see Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, Rayquaza, Dialga, Cobalion, Therian Forme Thundurus, Zekrom, and Xerneas in five-star raids.
  • Mythical Pokemon will NOT be appearing in five-star raids.

Please take note the ALL Trainers will be able to take part in the event. Only those who have acquired a Pokemon GO ticket, however, will be granted some additional perks which include:

  • Additional 10,000 XP for winning a Raid Battle.
  • Spinning Gym Photo Discs can get you up to 10 Raid Passes (used for in-person raids).
  • Up to eight Raid Passes rewarded for completing Timed Research (used to join a raid remotely).
  • An event bundle with three Remote Raid Passes. The bundle will be available in the shop during the event.
