Niantic announced Pokemon Go Community Day for April and you'll get to catch dragon-type creature Bagon, who can also evolve into Salamence during the event. Pokemon Go April Community Day is scheduled for 13 April 2019, 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

As we're readying to say goodbye to March and welcome April, Niantic are also readying some new Pokemon Go events. One of these events is, of course, the Community Day, in which players play together in their local parks for a few hours, each month.

Niantic announced that Pokemon Go April Community Day is scheduled for 13 April 2019 and it will run from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. During the event, players will have the opportunity to learn a previously unavailable move for featured Pokemon or its Evolution, as well as earn some Community Day bonuses.

In April, the featured creature is Dragon-type Pokemon Bagon. The creature will appear more frequently in the wild than it usually does, which will make it much easier to catch and add to your collection.

Considering that Niantic traditionally add Shiny versions of featured Pokemon during the Community Day, we assume that will also be the case with Bagon, although Niantic didn't confirm this in their announcement.

As usual, Niantic will also reward you with triple the usual amount of experience points for catching Bagon, along with three-hour lures to make it even easier to get the creature.

Those who catch Bagon will have a chance to evolve him into a dual-type Dragon pseudo-legendary Pokemon Salamence up to an hour after the event ends. He will also be able to learn an exclusive move, but Niantic didn't reveal what this special move could be.

Pokemon Go Community Day is not the only event that will take place in April. Niantic also revealed the Bug Out event that is scheduled to run from 02 April to 09 April 2019.

During the event, Bug-type Pokemon will appear more frequently in the wild, Incense will last twice as long and more Pokemon will appear when using Incense. Additionally, a limited-time Bug-type Pokemon Field Research will be available during this event.
