Sony have revealed the list of PlayStation Plus Essential games for April 2023. The lineup brings hits like Sackboy: A Big Adventure but also a day one release in Meet Your Maker.
PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting three new monthly games in April 2023 including a day one release Meet Your Maker, PlayStation console exclusive platformer Sackboy: A Big Adventure and 2D action adventure with a rat in the main role Tails of Iron.
All three games will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, April 4 until Monday, May 1. These three games are part of the PlayStation Plus Essential package so expect more announcements from Sony for Game Catalogue in a couple of days.
PlayStation Plus Essential games are also available to both PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers. So without further ado, here's the list of PlayStation Plus games for April 2023.
PlayStation Plus Essential games for April 2023
- Meet Your Maker (PS4 and PS5)
Meet Your Maker is a rare day-one release on PlayStation Plus. This post-locality FPP building and raiding title has a unique concept where every level is pretty much designed by players. Players can build their outposts, add traps and guards and gear up for fast-paced raiding of other players' outposts and creations.
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS4 and PS5)
If you're looking for a cute little platformer, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is an obvious choice in April 2023 lineup. This time around, you can also try multiplayer but solo play is also available as well as co-op.
- Tails of Iron (PS4, PS5)
In Tails of Iron, you play as a rat called Redgi who must restore his broken kingdom by banishing the Frog clan from a grim land plagued by war. Tails of Iron is a 2D action adventure RPG with stylised visuals and we wholeheartedly recommend it even if such games aren't your thing.
If you're yet to download the March 2023 games, you can do that until Monday, April 3, 2023. The lineup includes military multiplayer shooter Battlefield 2042 , dungeon crawler Minecraft Dungeons and souls-like RPG Code Vein.
