Mr. Brendan Greene of PUBG shared two images of a new map coming to the game. Twitter post showed an abandoned desert city. An exact release date for the map is still unknown.

Rejoice, everyone! PUBG is getting a hot new map, first since the game entered Early Access. Mr. Brendan Greene shared two screenshots of the new map and oh dear, it is everything:

The two screenshots show a train, a couple of buildings and everything else a growing map needs to flourish into a blood soaked field. This map is still under construction and the release date is still a mystery.

Other maps destined to arrive to the Battlegrounds include one with a cosmodrome and a couple of massive, 50 storeys high buildings bursting at the seems with loot. The cosmodrome is still happening but the buildings had to be scaled down for the sake of gamers and their frail little hearts.

Mr. Greene is constantly reminding us that it is very early and that the maps are subject to constant change.

Another map that will eventually be a part of the game is an island on the Adriatic Sea. Formerly a part of Yugoslavia, the island is checkered with different areas.

The island is 8x8km and it's home to all kinds of weather conditions. Northern side is lush with thick forests, and on the south is the Mediterranean coast. The two sides are divided by snowy mountains.

Our suggestion for a map on the Adriatic Sea looks a tiny bit different, and you can check out our article on that right  . The video on the subject is above this article. If you can't be bothered to scroll all the way up, .

One more map soon to arrive to PUBG, was previously described as a 4x4km chunk of desert ravaged by war and sandstorms. The south and east areas of the map have a canyon with a river running through. Hillside slums occupy the northern portion of the map. Could this be the map we saw today?

In other news, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds hit an  of 312,000+ players over the weekend.

The game is currently in Steam's Early Access and it is available for .
