PvZ 2: Battle for Neighborville is about a month away from release on Switch as the game makes its debut on the handheld console in Complete Edition.
PvZ 2: Battle for Neighborville Complete Edition is set to release on Nintendo Switch on March 19, 2021. If you were looking for a wacky shooter to enjoy on the go, look no further as this is easily one of the most beloved games to ever exist.
As the name suggests, plants and zombies will be duking it out in Neighborville and you will be able to do so in all their photosynthetic and undead glory. The Complete Edition will feature the DLC that was previously available for download on other platforms but it appears all the characters and other content will be available through both online and offline play.
Players will get to take on "hilarious missions" and "defeat epic bosses to collect medals and unlock dangerously superb outfits". While that kind of customisation is certainly welcome, there will be a total of 23 customisable characters so it might take the completionists a while to kit out each and every one of them.
One of the best parts is that there will not be any premium store or currency involved, effectively putting an end to possibility of microtransactions.
Multiplayer modes will include partying up with up to three friends or getting into 8v8 multiplayer to vanquish opponents, blow up gnome bombs and utilise motion control for aiming at the enemy team.
