According to a LinkedIn profile of Microsoft's Mark Skwarski, Xbox Game Pass subscription for PC has over 15 million subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass is often labelled as the best deal in gaming with a vast library of more than 500 games. Game Pass is currently available across various platforms including Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles, PC and mobile via the cloud.

Microsoft rarely provide official numbers for Game Pass but the company did confirm a while back that more than 25 million players worldwide are subscribed to their popular service.

And according to a LinkedIn profile of former Xbox content Product Manager Mark Skwarski, PC Game Pass alone has over 15 million subscribers, which some may find surprising.

Skwarski states on his profile that he partnered with creative directors at Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios on new ideas so 15 million PC players can enjoy Xbox Game Pass.

"Partnered with creative directors at Bethesda & Xbox Game Studios to pilot new growth ideas, making it easier for over 15M PC players to enjoy Xbox Game Pass," it's written on Skwarski's LinkedIn profile.

This is certainly a huge number for Microsoft who have been aggressively promoting PC Game Pass over the last couple of years and adding some great day-one releases exclusively on the PC platform. The most notable recent additions are Total War Warhammer 3 and Football Manager 2022.

Starfield could be the biggest Xbox exclusive in 2023
Xbox Game Pass is expected to grow significantly with the release of Starfield and other upcoming Xbox exclusives

Xbox Game Pass is expected to grow further in 2023 thanks to some pretty major upcoming releases like Redfall, Starfield, Forza Motorsport and more. On top of this, there are third-party day-one releases like Lies of P, Atomic Heart and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty which certainly add a lot of value to the service.
