Linear survival game Pacific Drive just received a major update titled Drive Your Way, adding over 50 adjustable options to customize the rules of the game, its difficulty, and more.
With this in place, players can make certain adjustments to their likings, which will help them either lower down or increase the difficulty bar of the game.
Currently, Pacific Drive is available on PS5 and PC, and with this new patch, it has become even more interesting to casual and hardcore players alike.
They can, for example, make tire blowouts happen less often-yet it upsets some players-or, as an added challenge, they may have all the anomalies be invisible to the naked eye.
With more than 50 settings to tweak, the game offers six presets for those who would not want to go manually through each option. These presets help in crafting specific experiences that offer variances in difficulty.
For example, Iron Wagon is a perma-death mode that goes to hardcore, while on the other hand, Scenic Tour is more relaxed, with death and damage, driving hazards, and crafting requirements turned off.
Other modes include Nuclear Journey, adding extra radiation to maps and amping up the danger in storms, and Olympic Gauntlet-more challenging with everything maxed out.
Alongside the free update, the developers also released a paid cosmetics pack, the Anomalous Customization Pack, which adds six new cosmetic items at a price of $4.99.
