Outriders is coming to Game Pass day-one

Square Enix will be releasing their upcoming looter shooter Outriders on Game Pass on April 1, 2021. The publisher confirmed the news with a brand new trailer.

After some rumours suggested that Outriders could soon launch on Xbox Game Pass, Square Enix have now officially confirmed that the game will indeed release day-one on Microsoft's mega-popular subscription service.

"Starting April 1 (not an April Fool's joke, I assure you), Xbox Game Pass for Console and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can jump into this true genre-hybrid from Square Enix, which combines brutal combat with deep RPG systems," it's written in the announcement on Xbox blog.

Sadly, it looks like the game will be available only on console and xCloud, meaning that PC players won't get to try it this way. It's certainly possible that Outriders also comes to Game Pass for PC, but at the time of writing, we don't have a confirmation from Xbox or Square Enix.
