We all know that autumn is a gamer's paradise and that most serious publishers wait until this time of year to release their flagship titles. Apart from the new Call of Duty and FIFA, which, by the way, we won't see this year, or at least not under this name, other large titles always reserve their spots for release during the autumn months.
There is no denying that October is the best gaming month of the year, but what sets this October apart from the others are long-awaited games, particularly sequels to popular franchises like Spider-Man and Assassin's Creed. Whether you prefer your games on PlayStation or Xbox, Nintendo or PC, you will definitely want for nothing game-wise once autumn knocks on our door.
So, without further ado, let's see what great hits await us once the summer settles down and we switch beautiful beaches, holidays, and vacations with virtual worlds once again.
Games we will play in October 2023
- Spider-Man 2
- Super Mario Bros Wonder
- Alan Wake 2
- Forza Motorsport
- Assassin's Creed: Mirage
- Lords of the Fallen
- Cities Skylines 2
- Alone in the Dark
As you can see, this list is quite mind-blowing. We, personally, cannot wait to get our hands on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and see if it will live up to its predecessors and deliver the same, or even greater, amount of fun and amusement as the previous two Spider-Man games did.
There is also the long-awaited Assassin's Creed: Mirage, an AC game that promises a return to its roots with more stealth and less RPG.
Let's not forget Alan Wake 2, the sequel to the original game, for which we have been waiting for more than ten years. For fans of a good driving simulation who own an Xbox console, there is Forza Motorsport, as well as a new Super Mario game for those who own a Nintendo console.
All things considered, this will be a month that's going to be incredibly harmful for your free time as well as your budget because it will be quite difficult to pick which game to play from so many blockbusters available in October 2023.
