The highly anticipated Moon Studios' co-op mode for No Rest for the Wicked is finally available for public testing. Owners of the game can now access a limited-time open beta on Steam and test the multiplayer mode ahead of its full launch.
The beta is based on a separate Experimental branch, so players can access the multiplayer test without fear of affecting their primary save games. Everything that players do and test in the beta will remain in that branch only, so when the beta period ends, players will be able to resume playing their live characters just as they left them. Beta testing is largely for feedback purposes.
The developers are observing how co-op plays out in a live environment, with multiple players in the same instance and systems being thoroughly stress-tested before the mode's final release.
