Infinity Ward have officially confirmed that PC players will get to uninstall specific Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game modes once the new update drops later today.
It's safe to say that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the best, if not the best Call of Duty game in the last decade but still, the game has a couple of frustrating issues that should have been addressed long time ago.
One of the things that most players hate about Modern Warfare is the game's ridiculous file size, which takes up more than 200 GB of storage space. Yes, Call of Duty Modern Warfare is jam-packed with content including dozens of multiplayer maps, guns, skins, operators and game modes and there's also the free to play battle royale mode Warzone but still, 200 GB is quite a lot.
Luckily, console players can delete the singleplayer campaign and spec ops to free up space and the same feature is coming today to PC players. Infinity Ward Production Director Paul Haile confirmed in one of his latest tweets that an update is coming today, which will have mode-specific uninstall options for Modern Warfare players on PC.
This is, of course, great news for those who had to delete other games to free up storage space every time Call of Duty Modern Warfare had a major update. With the new option, you should probably free up at least 50 GB if not more.
