League of Legends Twitter account has revealed the five upcoming Lunar Beast skins for six champions: Jarvan IV, Alistar, Annie, Darius, Aphelios and Fiora
Skins have always been one of the favourite features for a majority of League of Legends players. Even though they don't give any advantages in terms of stats, a brand new skin on your main champion feels very satisfying, to say the least.
Riot Games have continued their recent trend of producing skins for champions that don't get picked that much in the game. They have finally revealed three new gorgeous looking skins for champions that didn't get a new cosmetic addition in quite a while.
One of the official League of Legends Twitter accounts has revealed six new skins that will most likely join the live servers on patch 11.3. The skins will be a part of the existing Lunar Revel skin line. Lunar Revel is a mix series of alternate future/universe skins in League, set around the festivals of Ionia's Lunar Revel and real-world Lunar New Year or Spring Festival as it is commonly called. All of the champion skins were inspired by these region's cultures.
Even though Aphelios was one of the most popular champions in 2020, he didn't really get any skin upgrades in the previous year, probably due to his weapon switching mechanic which makes him more complex when it comes to adding new animation, compared to most of the other champions.
With the addition of these new skins, Lunar revel will take the top spot as the biggest skin line in the game. As mentioned before, the new set of skins will join the live servers most likely on patch 11.3 which is scheduled for February 3.
