According to the latest leaks, Ubisoft are set to announce a brand new Ghost Recon game called Frontline very soon. The game's key art and closed beta invites have also surfaced online.
Yesterday, an anonymous Redditor shared details about a brand new Ghost Recon game that is reportedly scheduled for a full reveal today. The post was with the information about the game was quickly deleted but it seems that the info was indeed legit and Ubisoft indeed have a new Ghost Recon game called Frontline to reveal today.
Thanks to an Uplay news post, which someone published earlier than it was supposed to, we have a key art for Ghost Recon Frontline and a confirmation of a closed beta test.
The key art for a game reveals that the game will be set during the modern-day or in the near future since drones, helicopters and humvees can be spotted in the image. As for the environment, we notice a lot of pine forests and some mountains in the background. The environments in the image remind us of a lot of mountain ranges in North America and Canada.
There's also a red flare in the image as well as three soldiers, which suggests co-op, something that is not unusual for the franchise.
Other than that, there is not much here to see. The game should be revealed today during the Ghost Recon 20th anniversary stream.
We also contacted Ubisoft for more info and will update the story if they get back to us before the reveal.
