Ubisoft have released patch notes for the upcoming Assassin's Creed Odyssey update which brings new game plus mode, increased level cap to 99 and a brand new quest dubbed A Brother's Seduction. The patch also includes two new gear sets.
By the looks of it, the upcoming February update for Assassin's Creed Odyssey is going to be a pretty big one. It brings some long-awaited features to the game as well as a new quest, which is available right now.
The new quest is called A Brother's Seduction and it's the latest episode in The Lost Tales of Greece. In the quest, you will encounter "a waylaid poet" who will lead you to two brothers who need help dealing with "their father's recent passing".
A Brother's Seduction quest can be found in Korinthia region and it's available to those who have reached Chapter 5 in Assassin's Creed Odyssey's main path.
Assassin's Creed is also getting a new game plus mode in title update 1.1.4 which is coming later this month. This feature will allow you to start a new game while keeping all your hard earned gear, upgrades, abilities and mounts that you've gathered in your previous playthrough.
Additionally, Ubisoft are also increasing the level cap to 99. This level increase will also give you access to three additional Engraving tiers that are upgradable at Hephaistos' Workshop, and an additional set of Ship improvements.
As for the new items, there are two new packs - Wild Boar Pack and Shark Pack. Both of these include a gear set, new mount and a legendary weapon.
Shark Pack also contains a new crew theme, the Teethers, a shark-style figurehead and a new aggressive ship design.
On top of all these features and additions, Ubisoft are hosting a photo contest called Winter in Greece. You can submit your best wintery screenshots between 21 and 28 February 2019 for a chance to win a Spartan Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Finally, there are some new fast travel points and two additional tiers will be added to the Mercenary LadderTwo.
