Crash Bandicoot fans seems to be in for a treat at the next Xbox showcase as a multiplayer title has been somewhat leaked.
Crash Bandicoot games have seen a resurgence in recent years as both the N.Sane Trilogy and CTR Nitro-Fueled were rather well-received, leading the fans to hope for more titles in the series. Now it looks like an announcement that will make them happy is imminent, as a leak about an upcoming Crash game happened recently.
The leak happened during the Xbox Chaturdays 69 podcast where Miles Dompier, Jez Corden and Rand Al Thor were talking about predictions for the upcoming Xbox showcase which will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
In a humorous turn of events, Jez Corden ended up confirming that a Crash game is in development and it's a multiplayer one. When you hear it that way, the best assumption is some sort of Crash Bash revival as it's been one of the entries fans have been clamouring for.
Then again, Corden did say it is a multiplayer brawler so it's not excluded we are going to see something along the lines of Super Smash Bros Brawl since Crash series has a long line of colourful characters that could be used to fill up the roster of such a game.
Still, it would be great to see Crash Bash that's upgraded for the modern systems but we will not know for sure at least until the Xbox showcase happens next Sunday.
