Monster Hunter series has been Capcom's best title in terms of sales for quite a while but it's safe to say that the series got global popularity with the release of Monster Hunter: World and games and expansions that followed.
Capcom previously announced that Monster Hunter: World was their best-selling title, leaving behind the likes of Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 7. Today, the Japanese publisher announced new sales milestone for their monster hunting action RPG, confirming that the game sold over 23.10 million units globally.
The sales data includes Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition which comes with the main game and the massive Iceborne expansion.
The second best-selling Capcom game at the moment is as you probably guess Monster Hunter: Rise with 13.60 million sales but Resident Evil 2 Remake is close behind with 13.10 million. These are some of the strongest releases from Capcom over the last several years in terms of critical acclaim so it's not surprising that both are so high up on the list.
Here are Capcom's Top 10 best-selling titles
- Monster Hunter World - 23.10 million
