Metroid Prime 4's potential release date has been leaked by a Czech online game retailer. The info on Metroid Prime 4's page on SuperGamer store website states that Nintendo's much-anticipated title will release on 29 November 2019.
Nintendo have been silent over Metroid Prime 4 for a long time now, and it's expected that fans will start clutching at straws for any kind of information on their beloved franchise. Czech online game retailer SuperGamer has offered them pretty significant info that reveals the exact release date of Samus' upcoming adventure.
A listing on SuperGamer's website suggests that Metroid Prime 4 will release later this year - 29 November 2019 to be more precise. The listing also confirms that Metroid Prime 4 will be available for purchase on the same date. Of course, take this with a boulder of salt as these leaks can often prove to be fake as stores put dates just as placeholders.
As for any official confirmation from Nintendo, information is pretty scarce. Back in 2017, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime talked to IGN about a potential release date. He said that the team wasn't ready to reveal specifics just yet because they also want to show the game to fans once they confirm the launch date.
"For us, we believe that having hands-on opportunity married to an announcement is really the best way to do it," Fils-Aime explained.
Did anything change since then? Not really, Nintendo is still very secretive about Metroid Prime 4 but hopefully, this leak changes their mind and they finally share some concrete info with fans.
Speaking about leaks and rumours in 2018, job descriptions on LinkedIn suggested that Bandai Namco is working on the game. Some of the Bandai Namco staff had a "Switch exclusive", an "ambitious AAA title" and a "very interesting unannounced project" descriptions on their profiles which started speculations on gaming forums and social media.
This one is also unconfirmed and we'll have to wait for who knows how long before Nintendo gives us more news on Metroid Prime 4.
