One of the biggest releases of 2023, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is only less than two months away from its release so it's somewhat expected that more details about the game will start to surface online soon.
Today, we have the first info on the game's potential install size. Sony have been sending out Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition consoles recently and eagled-eyed players have spotted that the retail box reveals that the game will require at least 98 GB of PlayStation 5 SSD.
Keep in mind that this is the minimum install size so it's highly likely that the final build with day one patch will take even more storage space.
Insomniac Games are yet to officially reveal the download size for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 but 98 GB certainly seems like a realistic size for the game.
Marvel's Spider-Man had a download size of around 50 GB but the scope of the sequel is certainly much bigger so the increase in the game's size is expected.
All in all, it's good that these small bits of info about Marvel's Spider-Man 2 are finally surfacing online and hopefully, we'll get to see more of the game soon along with new details about the story, gameplay and more.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is set to launch on October 20, 2023, for PlayStation 5.
