Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix revealed the newest patch notes for PC, PS4 and Xbox One that included a workaround for the crashing with certain Nvidia GPUs on PC.
Marvel's Avengers' recent launch wasn't a trainwreck that many live service games get these days but some players had their share of issues. Chief among them is the driver problem that caused crashing for PC users who had Nvidia 10 series GPU.
Namely, in some cases, the players would attempt to check out something else on their computer by using Alt-Tab or get into the full screen by using Alt-Enter at which point the game would crash. According to the latest patch notes , there should now be a workaround that would put an end to such abrupt interruptions of service.
That's not the only crash fix as DEVICE_HUNG issue when wading through sewers shouldn't be appearing anymore. Besides the crash fixes, Steam Cloud enabling will now allow players to synchronise their saves between multiple PCs.
As for the gameplay fixes, throwing rocks as Hulk or shooting as Ironman shouldn't be a problem anymore.
PlayStation 4 patch notes included several items but the most important one is that players can now enable backup saves which will save their progress every hour. It is basically a workaround for problems that could occur with corrupted save files and as such, it will not fix save-related issues players had prior to the patch.
Xbox One patch notes are almost the same as PS4 ones, except there are a few more tweaks such as fixing the character model bugs for young Kamala and Thor.
