Amazon are instating some changes to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 content of Lost Ark, as to increase the fun factor of the gameplay, rather than the grind and tediousness it involves.

Guardian Raids in Lost Ark are instanced Boss fights, in which players are tasked with finding and defeating the so-called Guardians. They include up to four participating players.

On their forum, Amazon have announced that they will be nerfing the following Guardian Raids, due to player complaints:

  • Vertus,
  • Nacrasena,
  • Flame Fox Yoho,
  • Tytalos,
  • Achates,
  • Alberhastic.

Abyss Dungeons, on the other hand, are content intended for four players exclusively. Unlike Guardian Raids which can be completed by less players, these dungeons must be done in a group, purely because of their difficulty.

In regards to that, Amazon are nerfing the following Abyss Dungeons, for the same reason:

  • Necromancer’s Origin,
  • Hall of the twisted Warlord,
  • Hilderbrandt Palace,
  • Sea of Indolence.

As the developers state, the game difficulty is a tricky topic to discuss in a game like Lost Ark, as so much relies on player skill and adequate character builds. However, a trend has been noticed with these examples of Tier 1 and Tier 2 content. SO, to make it more enjoyable for the player base, nerfs are being instated.

This change will take place during the weekly Lost Ark update, and the developers will have more details to come once those patch notes are shared.
